Search implementation case studies presented at the conference will include Airbus, AstraZeneca, Ernst & Young, MAN Truck & Bus, Reed Business Information, the Dutch government department Rijkswaterstaat, UBS, and University College London.<\/p>\n
The opening keynote speaker is Dale Roberts, author and co-founder of Artesian Solutions. In his keynote \u2018Decision Sourcing \u2013 Decision Making for the Agile Social Enterprise\u2019, Dale will explore what living in a post-information age means to information workers, decision makers and the corporation as a whole, and explains why the convergence of Social, Big Data, Analytics and Enterprise Search will enable businesses to be agile in a world that is increasingly unforgiving of those that are not.<\/p>\n
Day two\u2019s opening keynote is\u00a0 \u2018The Future of Search\u2019, in which two search experts \u2013 Professor Elaine Toms of the University of Sheffield, and Jeff Fried, CTO of BA Insight \u2013 of will consider whether the future of search will be determined by the vendor community of the user community.<\/p>\n
The conference will also feature four pre-conference workshops which will drill down into the four key topics in more detail. Workshops include Charlie Hull of Flax on \u2018Getting the best from open source search\u2019; Tony Russell-Rose on \u2018Designing Search Usability\u2019; and two SharePoint sessions, one focusing on architecture and capabilities, and the other on successful projects and practices.<\/p>\n
